Gonzo - ADOPTED!'s Story...
Date of Birth: estimated July 7, 2005
Male- NEUTERED
Medium Haired White and Black

My name is Gonzo, and I came to Tigerlily Cat Rescue from animal control with Kermit (yeah, I was named after a Muppet). When I came to Tigerlily, I was pretty sick and very dirty and matted. It took a little while to get me healthy, and then I headed off to the groomer for a nice bath and shave! I was an awesome boy at the groomer – no one could even believe how tolerant I was! I am such a sweet and lovable guy!! I absolutely love canned food!! I get along well with everyone, especially other kitties, though dogs sometimes scare me a little at first. I can be a little bit of a baby, and like to curl up in your arms and lap! I would make a wonderful addition to any home… please consider me!

Love, Gonzo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gonzo - ADOPTED!, a Sterling Heights Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
