My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

[UPDATE: The family who adopted Alex in January has returned him because of allergies .... ] 5-year-old Alex has been returned by his owner who lost his job ... He had been adopted with his friend Jose, who is also returned. In the year Alex was in his adopted home, he had pretty much all his teeth pulled because they were bad. He still eats hard food or soft food just fine. He is a TOTAL lap cat, and he's so kind and gentle. Though he is definitely friends with Jose, we don't think they are permanently bonded. His origins: Alex was turned in at a rural shelter as "unwanted," but he is so sweet and handsome, we just can't figure out how anyone could let him go. We suspect he could be an American Curl mix, because his ears are handsomely curled backwards with a lot of curly hair coming out of his ears. He has an odd meow that is halfway between a duck and a bird of some sort! He is gentle, sweet and loving, and he loves luxuriating in his fluffy bed. We suspect the owners made him stay outdoors a lot because he has a big scar on his side, and he looks like he could have lived a life a little rougher than he would like. He for sure is loving the glamorous indoor life now, perfect in every way; he also acts like he wasn't fed properly because he seems ravenous with his dry food. Can you pamper this beautiful fellow the way he deserves? He will love you for it!
