Ruff Ruff! My name is Gordie
|Breed:||Pomeranian||Color:||White - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Male|
I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Gordie was rescued from a puppy mill in Nebraska. He is a gorgeous, lovely little fellow. He is still a bit hesitant with people and will need a quiet home. Gordie lost 12 teeth at his first vet visit. The vet said he had advanced periodontal disease from all of the years without any care. Gordie is such a darling boy who is enjoying the freedoms that other dogs take for granted. For 10 years Gordie did not get to touch grass or run or play. Even though he isn't fully sure of himself just yet he is really enjoying playing with the other dogs out in big spaces, sniffing around, and getting exercise and fresh air. He is now clean and well groomed and we are pretty sure he appreciates that too. He is a precious, fragile little soul and we are so happy that he will get to know the good things in life.
Gordie is a male Pomeranian. He was born 2/5/99 and weighs 4.8 pounds.
Gordie would love to have you visit him at his very own web page:

Help this Shelter by making a donation.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill animal shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization dedicated to the relief of suffering. We rescue dogs from all over the country and specialize in long distance adoptions. We take the creatures who are lost, afraid, hungry or ill and comfort them, give them a warm, soft bed, good food, medical care and most of all, love.
HUA is a place of happiness, joy and love. Everything we do is in the best interest of the dogs. There are no cages. The dogs have big fields of grass and trees in which to run. Our primary interest is what will make them happy. HUA is a place to celebrate the joy of life.
All of our pets are available for viewing on the internet at www.hua.org. Come read their stories and see their individual pages.
The adoption fee for all dogs is $200.
We require an application (found on our website). We also require a home visit and vet reference check. Fenced yards are required for most dogs. Many of our dogs may not be good with children, or it may depend on the age of the children...please feel free to ask who we would consider good with young ones.
All dogs will come spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
We put the welfare of the dogs before all else and are very careful with their placement. Many of our dogs are puppy mill survivors or have otherwise been physically or emotionally traumatized. Our goal is to find them the very best homes possible where they will be loved and adored family members, where they will be kept safe and receive no less than exceptional care for the rest of their lives.
