Emma's Story...
Those hurricanes in Louisiana were so scary! I know folks were trying to help me, but I was confused by all the wind and rain! I was seen through two storms, and finally was taken in by a really nice lady who thought I was adorable! She fostered me and vetted me and helped to transport me to RI. I have the typical Affenpinscher temperament, a lot sweet and playful and curious, a little stubborn. I am around 13 pounds and am about 2 years old. i am fine with most dogs, but do not like those a lot bigger than I am. I would do all right with respectful and understanding older children. Please ask about me if you are in RI, cape Cod, eastern CT or are near Boston or Worcester. Please call my foster mom Judy at 401 647-0513 if you have any more questions!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Foster Affenpinscher/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Affenpinscher/Pug for sale in Foster, or seeking a Affenpinscher/Pug dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Affenpinscher/Pug breeders who help with Affenpinscher/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
