My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie is a young female BC mix (we highly suspect she's mixed with Papillion as she's a tiny little thing built more like a Pap than a BC!) rescued from a high-kill shelter in ID just hours before her scheduled euthanasia. Her name is so very fitting as she takes her self-appointed job as "Border Collie Air Control" very seriously -- if a bird flies too low over the yard (based solely on her opinion of what is too low), she will run along underneath it barking happily until she's convinced that she singlehandedly removed the feathered intruder from the premises! She loves playing with toys and would be a flyballing natural given her size, speed and drive, and is very social with people. She also loves playing with other dogs and is neither submissive or alpha, just a happy-go-lucky kinda girl!

Birdie has been fully vetted and is in a loving foster home near Loveland, CO. We'll post a more complete bio on Birdie as we learn more about her.
