Yep, here I am! My name is Farley, and I am a 10 year old male tricolor beagle. I was found wandering the hot streets in the Phoenix area and no one would claim that I was their boy. So, Arizona Beagle Rescue was contacted, and they are going to try their best to find me a good home.
Here is what my foster Mom says about me - "Farley is an older boy, maybe 10? He came to me when he was abandoned at the vet hospital where I work. I took him home that night, and he joined the family without any trouble. He was very friendly with my other dogs, and gets along fine with them. No food aggression, no behavior issues at all, really! He uses the doggie door, and is completely housebroken. He sleeps in a doggie bed, or on the cool tile floor most of the day. He has free run of the house, with no problems. He is great with my kids, and happy to see anyone who comes over. He is overall a quiet beagle. However, he does let me know he is ready for dinner when I get home at night!
Farley is overweight, and has lost 3.5lbs so far. He has some fatty tumors on his chest that make him look even more plump. They are not harmful, only a cosmetic issue. His skin and ears are good, teeth could use a cleaning. He is sometimes a little stiff in the hips when he gets up, and he is on Rimadyl and Glucosamine/Chondroitin daily to help with his joints. I hope that with more weight loss, he will have an easier time. He is so sweet, and a very easy boy to have around. " Wow, I think she likes me!!!
I am an older boy, but I do still have alot of years left in me. And I would really like to find a family that will keep me in their life forever! I know that they don't really know that much about me right now, but if you think you might enjoy having an older, layed back beagle boy at your house, then please check me out!! Us older pups need homes too, and we would really like to be part of your life!!
