Sweet Tina's Story...
Sweet, petite SweetTina was rescued from a small backyard TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project in Douglas Township, Montgomery County. She and her 3 littermates (who will be ready for adoption soon!) had fallen into an empty trash can where they had to be carefully picked out. All four kittens at the time were scared, hissy, spitty and ready to bite! It didn’t take long for this crew to lighten up and become friendly, though. SweetTina immediately recognized how lucky they were and started purring after her bath later that day. She is a bubbly, outgoing kitten who gets along with other cats and kittens. Like most happy kittens, she loves to play. SweetTina is anxious for her very own family. She is spayed, negative for FeLV/FIV and has 2 of the 3 distemper vaccines. She’ll also need a rabies vaccination after adoption.

SweetTina’s estimated date of birth is 4/10/2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Tina, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
