Tess von Tavanne's Story...
Tess von Tavanne is a beautiful, intelligent 12-month-old black and silver German Shepherd. Tess is turning into a well behaved, lovely young lady under the tutelage of her foster family. She is now housebroken and has pretty good house manners. She still has her puppy outbursts of energy but she has settled down well. She walks well on the leash. Tess is good with the teenager in the family and the younger son. Also a baby comes to the house with the babysitter and she is fine also. They have an older female dog and an older male, Tess does fine, she loves other dogs. She meets new people well, but when some workmen were working outside she let them know she was on duty with a big deep bark. Besides having such a wonderful personality, you couldn’t find a more beautiful German Shepherd anywhere.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tess von Tavanne, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
