My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Dugan. Are you the type who cheers for the underdog? Well, that's me, the underdog! I've kind of had a rough start in life and still have the scars to prove it. You see I was hit by a car and left on the side of the road-now I have a scar from my eye to the end of my cheek. Well, I do have a scar from the accident but luckily I was rescued from the side of that road and now I'm healthy and just need a home to call my own. My foster Mom adores me but she knew from the beginning that she couldn't keep me forever on a count of the fact that I just don't like those cats. I would like a home without cats please and although I've been good whenever my foster mom's had me around children, the little ones tend to startle me with their quick movements.

I am affectionate and sweet and very, very loyal. I love to hang out in the backyard but I am also great in the house because most of all I just want to be with the one(s) I love. I would be a great only dog although it's not a requirement and I do have other dogs that I play with and hike with. Do you feel like you could open your heart and home to an underdog like me?
