My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy!! My name is Rylo and I am a 6 year old tricolor male beagle. I was at the AZ humane society and they decided that Arizona Beagle Rescue would be the best place to send me to help me find a new forever home!

I am an easy going beagle, and my foster family thinks I just might have some basset hound in me! I get along great with my foster sister beagle and my foster family's cats! I also enjoy my daily walk and will let my foster mom know it's time for my walk by sitting near my leash, waiting to go. I bark when I see any other dogs while on walks. You must be firm with me when walking or I will pull hard to run to other dogs. I loves anything that's soft and cuddly, including blankets, pillows, and stuffed toys. My foster mom thinks I am so cute when I'm ready for a nap and will often carry my blanket to my nap spot to get comfy!

I was a bit overweight when I first came to their house. They found out that I needed to be on thyroid medication to keep this under control. It is not a costly medication, maybe $15 per month. I will still need to work on my weight, but check out my new pictures. I am looking good!!!
