My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paul is a sassy, 12 pound, 9 month old JRT mix who likes to imagine himself to be King of the Castle but is really just a nervous little guy who needs a confident person to let him know that he is loved but he is definately not the boss. Paul is potty trained using a doggie door, walks well on leash, and loves his people. He is in foster care with dogs of all sizes and appreciates a good introduction at first since he is nervous a large dog may eat him or even worse, not recognize his fabulousness. Paul is a little nervous meeting new people but once he warms up he is super snuggly. He would do best in a relaxed home and would be okay with older children but might find small, loud children to be concerning.

This dog is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $400 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
