Mimi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mimi's Story...
Mimi is a vivacious female Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. (We're not sure of her exact breed, but this is a very good guess.) She is 7 years old and had to have an eye removed since she was in a car accident, poor thing. She's very entertaining with some quirky little habits, and is extremely loving once she knows and trusts you. Her unique personality endears herself to you very quickly. What a love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi, a New York Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
