Other than a bit of marking in the house (we are working on this), he is house-trained, and also does quite well in his crate - he travelled in his crate in the car, and was relaxed enough to go to sleep. Although he gets along well with other dogs, he would probably be best in a home where he is the only dog (he likes to be the centre of attention), and where there are no small children, since he gets a bit grumpy when he is startled.
Although he has grumped at us while he has been here, he has never once bitten us - and he settles down quickly and stops the grumping when reminded. He is a smart little guy who just wants to be loved - he will make a wonderful companion for someone who is willing to work on his basic obedience training, build up his confidence and shower him with affection.
Given what he has been through in his life so far - we think that he deserves to settle into his forever home and be a cherished pet.
