Seth's Story...
Meet "Seth"! Look at this beautiful boy! Seth is very special 9 year old Alaskan Malamute. He was abandoned because he has cancer. The tumor has been removed from his chest & may very well reoccur. You would think that this would have slowed him down but it has not. He is full of life & really gets going when he sees you go for his leash. He is very talkative & loves his walks! He is neutered, micro chipped, & current on all shots. Seth is looking for a very special person or family to adopt & love him. Do you have a place in your heart & home to help this boy? If so, please contact: Marilyn at mbowes@lacma.org or 323.664.5276 or 323.857.6179/work

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seth, a Southern California Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Southern California, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Southern California.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern California already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern California breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern California paves the way for another one to be saved.
