My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE FROM MOUSE'S FOSTER HOME: "Mouse is a joy! She is a true sweetheart- she will certainly be a loving, wonderful addition to any kind home who welcomes her! She had a VERY tough start in life and deserves to have a wonderful home..."

Hi there- I'm MOUSE! I'm a solid gray girl and I am incredibly sweet and loving! I am spayed, up to date on shots, front declawed, housetrained/litterbox trained and we have been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. In addition, I have tested negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia. (Indoor Only Cat) I am approx. 7 years young (ealy 2010).br>
To tell you a little bit about my tough past...I lived with an elderly lady who's home was filled to the ceiling with boxes and items. There was never much room to move around and the blinds were always pulled down so I didn't have any sunlight. I lived there fr years and I am so thankful to have been lucky enough to be rescued by the good people at Advocates 4 Animals! For a long time, the two of us (my mom and I-- she is the black feline pictured in some of my photos) were kept in a dark, very small metal crate- it was so small that we could not stand up without hitting our head. Our litterbox filled the entire crate- so we basically lived in our litterbox which was inside a crate that we couldn't even stand up in. It was lonley and sad. Luckily we were fed wet food in the tiny crate, but we couldn't move and our legs were very cramped and it was very frustrating. All I can say is we are VERY lucky to have been rescued and now I am looking for a loving home to call my very own so that I can live a happy, healthy life...one where I can look out the windows and bask in the rays of sunlight that stream in through them. A life where I am loved, cared for and cherished. I will thrive in a calm home and one where I am very loved! (Did I mention I love to be petted!?)
