Grimilken's Story...
Hi, my name is Grimilken and I am so happy to meet you! I love to meet new people and I'm a very affectionate cat. I am a purebred flamepoint ragdoll boy. I get along well with children, dogs, and other cats, but I also like to get a lot of attention just for me. I have been moved to foster care in Portland, OR. I have to take liquid medicine twice a day for my heart, but I don't mind and I'm always very cooperative about it! I am also declawed and I need to live indoors all the time. Here's a note from my foster mom: Adopters will be provided with a vet consult regarding Grimilken's medical issues. We do not ship cats and must meet all applicants prior to adoption. I am being fostered in Portland, OR. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out our preliminary screening application here: http://ragdollrescue.com/application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grimilken, a Keizer Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Keizer, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Keizer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keizer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keizer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keizer paves the way for another one to be saved.
