Big Boy's Info...
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Big Boy came to Good mews when his guardian had to enter a nursing home. This was very confusing for Big Boy because he had such a loving home for so long! But we are glad that Big Boy was able to come to Good Mews and we promised him we would find him a new, loving home.
Big Boy is a senior, but you wouldn’t know it! We often see him playing and wrestling with some of the younger cats. This beautiful boy loves people and would make a wonderful companion. He would do well in a home with other cats, but he would also be happy as an only cat—as long as you promise to play with him!
Big Boy is on a prescription diet due to diarrhea, which he is responding well to. It is recommend that he remain on this diet when he first goes to his new home, but if his adopter would like to try something new, they need to consult with their vet. Big Boy is also on methimazole for hyperthyroidism, dermacaps for dry skin/coat, and amlodipine for high blood pressure.
Big Boy is over-looked because of his medications, but he is doing great and has a lot of living to do. He would really love a forever home where he can live out his senior years.
A generous donor has paid Big Boy’s adoption fee!
Big Boy is also in our Kitty Keeper program and sends out quarterly updates on how things are going at the shelter. To read more about our Kitty Keeper program, click the Giving to GM tab.
