Baby Daddy's Story...
Ever had a big red male cat???

Well if not you are in for a very special treat

This big guy is the ultimate lapcat.Whoever said cats are independant never met Baby Daddy. He will follow you around from room to room just wanting to be held and loved by only you.He purrs non-stop and even though you may look away for a moment he never takes his eyes off you

How did he get his name??Well we figure in his days as the alpha male of the neighborhood he sired many a litter

We took him in off the st got him neutered/shots and just basically cleaned him up and nursed him back to health,He says thank-you w/his greatful purrs

He is one satisfying cat to hold on too and he does love to be held!

Because Baby Daddy spent years on the st we find he does not get along well w/other cats and do not reccomend placing him w/children or dogs either

He does get along really well w/Mamma and her babies and they really do make a nice family
If you are looking for a ready made family these 4 would be great they get along so well and love each other so much

However if you are a one cat only kind of person Baby Daddy would fit perfectly into your lifestyle.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small non-profit rescue group committed to finding homes for stray abandoned and abused cats and kittens.

We do not go out of state and rescue from other shelters but rather the emphasis is on rescuing the ever-growing population of urban cats and kittens right here in our own backyards.

We do not have a shelter but rely on foster homes and are always in need of good foster parents.

Our mission is education and sterilization.

We hope to eventually raise enuf money for a mobile low cost spay/neuter unit so that more people will have access to low cost spaying and neutering.

We are aware of a lack of true low-cost spay/neuter facilities in NJ.

We are truly no kill and do not ever euthanize healthy animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Daddy, a The Oranges Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in The Oranges, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in The Oranges.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Oranges already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Oranges breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Oranges paves the way for another one to be saved.
