Missy's Story...
Missy is an adult beagle who was found by animal control officers nursing her one baby outside. She was brought to the SPCA where she and her baby were placed in a foster home. Missy proved to be a wonderful mother and took excellent care of her baby- now it is her turn to be taken care of! Missy is a sweetheart who craves affection, but she needs a calm and loving home because she is also nervous and skittish. Her owners must have patience as she learns to feel comfortable in a new home and learns to love her new family. And she will! Now that she has gotten comfortable with her foster mom, she is content to be petted for as long as possible and always runs to greet her! Missy also needs a fenced in yard, as she absolutely loves to run around outside. She is good with cats and dogs, but we recommend no young children because she is so nervous. She is very quiet for a beagle- she only barks quietly when she is ready to come inside. She is also housebroken and not-destructive at all. If you are interested in Missy, please submit an adoption application so we can set up a meet and greet. Due to nursing, it will be a few weeks until Missy can be spayed, but we are hoping to have a wonderful home all lined up for her when the time comes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Vineland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Vineland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Vineland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vineland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vineland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vineland paves the way for another one to be saved.
