Lenny's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lenny's Story...
Lenny is a handsome, gentle and sweet, three-year-old, 43-pound, purebred Shar Pei looking for a loving home. Lenny adores people of all ages, and enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. Lenny frequents doggie daycare and loves other dogs. Lenny is housebroken, but suffers from separation anxiety so he’s looking for a family where someone is home more often than not, or where Lenny can spend his days at doggie daycare. Lenny loves to ride in the car and enjoys playing ball. Lenny is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, tested for heartworm and on preventative. His adoption fee of $300 goes towards the rescued dogs of the We Luv Paws Rescue group. To meet and possibly adopt him, please e-mail Carol at weluvpawsilrescue@yahoo.com so she can send you an adoption application to fill out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Chicago Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
