Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shasta is a 6 year old Dachs-a-Dor. Her mother was a purebred yellow Lab and her father was a purebred Dachshund. Shasta is very lovable towards people but does not get along with other dogs. She has been kept in a crate separate from the smaller dogs in the home where she lives for the last two years and it is time for her to able to have a nice home where she is the only dog and does not have to be as confined as she is now. She is wonderful with people, it is just other dogs that she is aggressive towards, it has not been all dogs but enough that we know it is best she is the only dog in the home. She would make someone a wonderful little companion where she can get all the attention. She weighs 40 pounds, is spayed, housetrained, loves her crate for sleeping, is up to date with all her vaccines, and is on heartworm prevention. If you looking for a lovable medium sized dog to love and give a second chance to then please consider Shasta.
