Daisy's Story...
Daisy is a petite golden retriever/lab mix who was rescued from a crowded shelter after being found as a stray dog. She is about a year old and weighs around 40 pounds. Daisy looks like a golden retriever/yellow lab mix with a beautiful coat. She is very sweet and loving and has some puppy-like behaviors but is not hyper at all. Daisy is great with kids and other dogs but hasn't been around any cats. She is enjoying her foster parents and is friendly and social and getting acquainted with the other dogs in the foster home. Daisy is house trained when let out regularly, is kennel trained and walks quite well on a leash. She is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. Her adoption fee covers her spay, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick control and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Osseo Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
