Ivy Sue's Story...
Hey Hey !!!! Let's go !!! Come on !!! Hurry!!! I am ready to jog, walk, chase a ball, "kill' a toy, run after squirrels, birds, gophers, grasshoppers, anything that moves really !!!! Do you have another dog for me to play with !?? Great !!!! I love to play with others. I don't want to give you the impression that I am "hyper" though. I also love to snuggle, cuddle, watch t.v. , help you read the newspaper, run errands, nap with you, and entertain visitors. My foster mom says I am crate trained and house trained. I weigh about 21 pounds and have smooth hair and a perky docked tail. I am a shortie JR---and as you well know---we usually have the best temperments. I have never been around kids, I will probably like them. Not sure what a cat is.....are they like stuffed toys? All my vet work has been done and I am ready to light up your life. Please contact Sandra if you are interested in me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy Sue, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
