Clovis & Zachary's Story...
My brother Clovis and I were brought to the shelter on 6-26-09. We met our wonderful foster parents on July 7th, 2009 and have been in their care ever since. We are fun loving, adorable and extremely energetic kittens who love to be played with and held. We will like other cats but we would need supervised play periods. We are not sure if we like dogs or not because we haven’t been properly introduced to them yet. We are both trained to use a litter box and are learning how to use a scratching device. We are getting used to having our nails trimmed. We love to play with mice, balls, any feather or hanging toy and wrestling with others but most of all, we want you to hold and love us!!!!

Please contact Mark at Mholcomb1993@kc.rr.com or 913 327-5468 or 913-302-6846 to find out more about our wonderful personalities. We go to off-site adoptions at the Petsmart store on 115th & Metcalf.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clovis & Zachary, a Overland Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
