Marley's Story...
Marley here, inviting you to take a walk with me! As you can see, I’m a perfectly apartment-sized fellow with gorgeous naturally curly platinum blonde fur. My buddies are training me to sit even without treats and – can you believe it? to rein in my ‘high fives.’ Doesn’t everyone love doggie hugs?! I sure love taking a break for a brisk stroll in the park; it’s hard not to dance for joy. I’m such a loyal guy, my previous parents worried I didn’t want to share them with company. Really, I just need proper introductions, and then I bond, like they say about the glue, instantly. Thanks for letting me share your life. Love you! Marley xx (Marley's previous adopters noticed some person possessiveness with visitors; he is getting lots of socialization at the shelter and seems to be doing great with all the people he meets.)

Act quickly to adopt Marley. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Berkeley Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
