Little Bit's Story...

A little bit of dog but a whole lot of love!

Little Bit, the newest resident of Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076), is so named because she is a little bit Chihuahua, a little bit pug and probably a wee little bit of Jack Russell too. She is approximately 7 years of age. She is spunky, sweet and will make an excellent companion dog in an adult or older children home. She is quite the friendly greeter when she encounters people out on her walks and will make an excellent traveling companion as well. She’s a social little girl and won’t want to be left alone for prolonged periods of time.

PLEASE NOTE: Little Bit is not at PAWS. If you are interested in her, please contact Westport Animal Control directly at 203-341-5076.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Bit, a Norwalk Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
