Lucy Lynchburg's Story...
Lucy is a little ball of fire and love muffin all wrapped up in pretty little package. She would do best with a family that has children for her to play with and/or a playful dog around her size. She will calm down after a nice 15 minute 'play session' and will also cuddle. She acts very much like a puppy. Loves following people around and going for walks. She has learned to walk well on a leash and loves running and wagging her tail. Lucy enjoys being around people and makes a great little lap dog. She's also great meeting new people!

Adoptive Status: Will be spayed, UTD on shots and micro-chipped within two weeks after the posted date.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy Lynchburg, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
