Wanda's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Wanda's Story...
Wanda is a beautiful 4 year old, 62 pound husky/shepherd mix who is in a shelter waiting for her forever home. She is a smart, well trained dog who gets along with kids as young as 5 and with other larger dogs. She views small dogs and cats as prey which is typical of her breed mix so needs a fenced yard and no small animals in her new home. Wanda is dependably house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She has had some obedience training as well. Her activity level is moderate and she would benefit from some regular exercise each day. Wanda is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. Her $250 adoption fee covers her spay, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wanda, a Osseo Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
