My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Buddy here. I would just like to thank my former family for nothing! They put in an application to surrender me to the UYR and then didn't wait one day for a response - they just dumped me at the shelter instead. After a few days at the shelter, the employees there contacted the UYR, and here I am at the Castagna kennel! I was at the shelter just long enough to catch kennel cough so now I have to be separated from the other dogs for a couple of weeks. We don't want anyone else to catch this - it stinks! I have to take medicine every day and I can't even go outside with any of the other dogs. I just get to sit in this room, by myself, waiting for someone to come play with me. What a great start to my new life - shots, medicine, surgery and a haircut (whatever that is - I've never had one). Oh well, when it is all done it will still be much better than the last house I was at. I'm not much of a barker and I love to be pet. I am about 6 lbs. but could stand to gain about another pound or two. I just turned 1 year old a couple of weeks ago (see the line above about no haircut - you can still see the puppy hair at the ends of my fur) Well, I look forward to hearing from all of you interested people out there. FM says I am very cute with a loving personality (I thinks that's a requirement to being a Yorkie) and I can't wait to find my new furever home.
