Biggles's Story...
18 weeks old as of August 23rd, born on April 19th Biggles and his littermates came to Stray Cat Blues just in the nick of time. They were hours away from euthanasia in the over crowded shelter.

This little group of six came to us at 6 weeks old, full of lots of playfulness and energy. They have been through the typical illnesses that many rescue kitties do go through. They had an upper respiratory infection (kitty cold) that lasted for over a month. Baby kittens, particularly with out a Mom, have a tough road ahead of them; many will not survive due to their very young age and different illnesses that occur when raising these kittens. They have now surpassed all the life threatening issues of their babyhood. They are now very loving and happy playful kittens.

Biggles and his brother Crash were adopted, together, and have come back to us after only one week, as the dogs in the new home were not to fond of them. They now await their Forever home, Will that home be yours?

Biggles is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. He is already microchipped! Biggles and Crash can be adopted separately, but would love to go to a home together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biggles, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
