My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaya and Cadence are tightly bonded to one another and hope to find a home where they can stay together forever. They've never been apart and wouldn't know what to do without each other. A gorgeous Russian Blue and a beautiful all-black cat - both girls are spayed, litterbox trained and current on vaccinations. Kaya is 4-5 years old and Cadence is 3-4 years old. They were abandoned by their family when someone new to the household was diagnosed as allergic to cats. They are indoor kitties who have never been outdoors. Cadence is the most outgoing of the two girls - she is friendly, confident, affectionate and very sweet. She loves to be around people and be where the action is. Kaya is a little more laid back and shy. When she's around her people, she is affectionate and loyal. When strangers are around, Kaya is not. She's a great hider. Both girls like to watch out the window and Cadence loves to lounge in the sunshine as it streams through the window. These are very sweet cats who deserve a lifetime of love. Adoption fee: $60. Adopt the pair: $80.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
