Marielle - VIDEOS's Story...
Marielle is a ray of sunshine! Even when she was new at the shelter, she greeted a visitor with great excitement, pattering around her new-cat cage and kneading her bedding with such enthusiasm that she looked like a little dancing pony. She's a bewitchingly pretty cat; her photos don't do her justice! Once she was released in a communal room, she proved to be a quiet, well-behaved resident. She never has any problems with anyone else, feline or human. She lost her home for litter pan indiscretions. It was an exceptionally
busy household with other cats, a puppy, and several children. No doubt, Marielle sometimes became stressed with the bustle. Perhaps one of the other pets or kids was upsetting her without the adults being aware of it. Her litter pan habits are impeccable at the shelter as far as we can see.
Experience has told us that a change of circumstances or a change of environment will
end litter pan issues once a physical cause has been ruled out. Dozens of other such cases we've taken over the years have been fine in their new homes. Marielle is a very affectionate little cat, a gem who is well worth getting to know. Meet her and you're sure to fall in love!
Marielle sits quietly in a nest in her communal room and doesn't rush up to visitors when they come in. If she did, she would have to compete with some colourful charmers among her roommates. People don't often notice a small black girl in the crowd. She's tiny and avoids the jostling throng. But if you go to where she's curled up and give her some pets, she springs to life, pattering back and forth in front of you and nuzzling your hand with urgent enthusiasm (just watch her videos below!). In truth, Marielle is lonely for human love. We do our best to give attention to every cat but it's never the same as having your own family. Marielle hungers for someone to belong to who will want all her love.
Marielle was born around the middle of 1999.
