Bodie's Story...
Updated June 2011 Please note, my foster mom is very good about keeping this site current. If you see this my bio listed, I am still available.

Bodie story is so sad. His family went camping at a campsite and when they left, they left both Bodie and his sister, Emily at the campsite just like they were the trash. I can not imagine how they must have felt alone in the middle of the woods. A person visiting the campsite worked for weeks to get their trust in order to save them. As you can imagine, the trust when we got them was very hard to gain however now that we have it, you can not asked for a more devoted dog. I must say, I did not hold out a lot of hope for them however now I LOVE these dogs. He is so devoted and loving. Within a week, he began to come around. Bodie gets along with the other dogs in the household.

If you are interested in Bodie, please fill out an application which can be found at Bodie has all his shots and has been neutered. His adoption fee is $275.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodie, a Fredericksburg Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
