My name is Buddy!

Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier Mix Dog for adoption in Berkeley, California - Buddy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Buddy's Story...
Buddy is friendly and affectionate and really wants to make a connection with whoever is willing. He is still energetic in that youthful boy way so would be best in a home without little kids until he has time to grow out of his adolescence. Buddy will need ample exercise so he's not a weekend warrior's dog. He's been good with other dogs whenever we've tested him. We're still getting to know this handsome boy so check back soon for an update.

Act quickly to adopt Buddy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Berkeley Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Canaan Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
