Rapunzel's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rapunzel's Story...
Rapunzel, like her fairy tale namesake, has beautiful long hair that she just LOVES to have brushed. And like the fairy tale, we hope our Rapunzel escapes from the confines of a shelter and finds her way to a forever home. She is also quite the talker. I'm sure she's saying something like "Please adopt me." Rapunzel is about one year old and is possibly deaf (at the least she is hard of hearing). That's why she is checked as "special needs".

PWP received a generous donation to sponsor some of our adult cats. These cats can be adopted at no charge with an approved application. Many of these cats have been at the shelter for a long time, and we want more than anything for them to go to their forever home. These cats are all spayed or neutered. RAPUNZEL is one of these lucky cats. Please stop by the shelter and meet her and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rapunzel, a Columbus Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
