Chico's Story...
Hi, my name is Chico! I am a little fireball packed into about 5 pounds. I am a little guy with a lot of spunk. I love the other dogs but I like to bark at the cats. I am okay once I get to know them though. I would do best with older kids who would know better that I am tiny and like to wiggle and they wouldn't let me fall. I had a couple of accidents in the beginning with my new family but after I got the hang of it I have been great. I like to walk on a leash and my foster family has a harness for me. It is really nice because it doesn't hurt my neck. I like to play with toys too! He loves to snuggle on your lap and give lots of kisses. I am a little shy of men at first but once I get to know them I will love them too! If you are interested in adopting me please contact my foster mom!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a Grant Park Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grant Park, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grant Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grant Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grant Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grant Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
