Cheeto's Story...
Meet Cheeto – a fabulous feline that will rock your world! Hendrix is a 11 week old dream. He loves to play, wrestle with his litter mates (the fabulous Mango and Cheddar!), and be snuggled. Cheeto purrs and purrs and purrs … immediately when he is picked up. He was rescued from Brooklyn and is now ready to find his “forever home”. Cheeto is a perfect little guy – he will not disappoint!

Cheeto is a beautiful orange/tabby kitten. Cheeto has very plush fur and loves to be brushed. He will do well with dogs, cats, and children – he is an easy and laid back guy that rolls with the punches. Cheeto and his siblings are being fostered in a home environment and receive the best TLC. He was be an easy one to join any family. There won’t be too much acclimation time for this little one. I have a feeling that he will simply take one look around and then make himself right at home! He doesn’t have one shy bone in his body – he will be the life of any party. If you are looking for a buddy to meet you at the door every day after work, look no further!

Cheeto tested negative for FELV/FIV, has been dewormed, received his both FVRCP vaccines, and is flea free. He got an A+ check up at the vet. Cheeto is not quite old enough yet to be neutered but we know of several free and low costs options available. I am happy to provide you with all of that information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheeto, a New York Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
