Bert: 7 pounds's Story...
Bert is a beautiful poodle puppy, rescued from a puppy mill. (He is half Shih-Tzu, but looks like a poodle.) Will be a non-shedder. Bert has been in our care and receiving vet care for over a week now. He's healthy and ready to come home! Bert only weighs 7.5 pounds and will likely be under 12# full grown. He is four months old. Friendly and adjusting well to life in our home. Requested donation of $350 will help us pay for the high cost of puppy mill rescue. Bert is neutered, dewormed, deflead, groomed and up to date on shots. Adoption of this pet also includes a 20% odd coupon for Moochie and Company.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bert: 7 pounds, a Cincinnati Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
