OLLIE HAD MAJOR SURGERY BECAUSE HE HAD TWO STONES LODGED IN HIS URETHRA. THIS WAS CAUSING HIM TO HAVE PAINFUL, BLOODY URINE. WITHOUT SURGERY OLLIE WOULD HAVE DIED. THE TOTAL FOR HIS VETTING IS NOW: $2108.28!! PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION TO HELP HIM GET WELL. THANK YOU!!!

UPDATE: 09/08/2009: Yippee!! Ollie is now back in his foster home after a very intensive surgery and long hospital stay. PLease keep him in your prayers!!!
UPDATE: 09/05/2009: Ollie had his surgery on August 28th and remains in the hospital. Hopefully he can come home early next week. Poor little fella has had major problems with bleeding. Please keep this precious little angel in your prayers!!
UPDATED BIO 8/24/2009: Ollie is 7 y/o and weighs 5.5#; he's being fostered in Port St. Lucie, FL. Ollie does not play well with other doggies - he needs to be an only little prince in the home. Ollie is very skittish around children of all ages and cowers down when he sees them - perhaps he has been abused by children in his past..........Foster Mom said that he does have severe separation anxiety when his 'people' leave - so a home with at least one stay-at-home person would be preferred. He is still not housetrained totally, and even though he goes outside, he still comes in the house and lifts his leg on anything he can find - bad little stinker! He is having a vet check to make sure he doesn't have a UTI or bladder infection. PLEASE NOTE! Because of Ollie's small size, he can ONLY be adopted into an adults-only home.
UPDATED BIO 7/28/2009: Ollie is 7 y/o and weighs 5.5#; he's being fostered in Port St. Lucie, FL. Ollie does not play well with other doggies - he needs to be an only little prince in the home. He still needs more help in the housetraining department - currently, he is wearing a belly band all the time. Mister Ollie lifts his leg on food and even other dogs - he loves draperies to pee-pee on, and shoes in the closet -- he is very creative on finding new places to pee-pee - what a stinker! Currently, Ollie needs to be fed alone - he goes into a temper tantrum if other doggies are near his food, toys or chewie toys. Ollie is very affectionate - what a little cuddle-big - and he loves his 'people', too!
ORIGINAL BIO 7/18/2009: Hi y'all! My name is Ollie. I'm 7 years old and 5.5#. I was just rescued by United Yorkie Rescue where I was a stud (at first, I thought it was a compliment!).... but no, I was a breeder dog... useful for one thing only. I've made lots and lots of babies over the years, but my usefulness has worn out. Now, I'm up for adoption and hoping someone else out there might find me useful as a best friend!
I am going to need some help in the housetraining department. I don't quite know I'm s'possed to go outside. My owner said I wasn't ALWAYS in the crate. (whatever that means) I'm cute as a button and guard my treats/toys from other dogs, but I don't mind it when humans take my treats away. I'm just a little guy, so please - no children under 12 please!! I'm going to the Doggy Dogtor first thing Monday morning so I can get all my shots, have my toofers cleaned, get microchipped, and have a noo-ter! Wish me luck! Kisses, love Ollie!
