Poe's Story...
PURRRRR.... Can you hear me? The second anyone walks in my room I start to purr so loud because I love people! I was found as tiny baby abandoned on the side of the road. A wonderful lady took me right to the vet and then became my mommy. I am a super loving kitty, and I absolutely love people. I am full of kitten energy and love to run back and forth chasing my toys. I am in a foster home where I am kept seperate from the other cats, but I love to play rough and tumble and love them. I am looking for someone who can love me and keep me safe for the rest of my life. If you would like to meet me please call Jennifer at 559-3137 or e-mail purr.pals@live.com. I bet you will fall head over heels for me!! An application, including character references from non-relatives, one of whom should be your veterinarian, will be required. A donation will help defray the costs of rescuing this little boy and neutering him at the appropriate age.

If you would like to meet Poe please contact his foster mom Jennifer at purr.pals@live.com or 315-559-3137.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poe, a Syracuse Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
