Carter's Story...
Hi, I'm Carter, a lovable Mastiff/boxer mix that adores humans of all ages. I'm energetic and enjoy walks or just horsing around but I also enjoy my sleep during the day. Like a Mastiff, I am most comfortable when humans are around and will tend to follow you from room-to-room. I tolerate cats though I just think they take up space. I need a fenced in area when outdoors--though I'm an indoor dog--as I'm very curious and apt to wander if given the opportunity. I'm up for adoption because I can't live where my master is going. He is very broken-hearted to have to adopt me out to a good, responsible owner. Please email jonathan.norcal@gmail.com if you have lots of love and a good home for me. Or you can call 916 254-7765 or 916 550-9574 Carter is up-to-date with routine shots and neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Sacramento Mastiff/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Boxer for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Mastiff/Boxer dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Boxer breeders who help with Mastiff/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
