Bubba's Story...
Bubba is a delightful dog. He is scared of people, yet at the same time is desperately drawn to them! Initially he would bark and shrink away, but now he wriggles with anticipation when he sees you coming. Mainly, he just needs a lot of reassurance and some training. If you are looking for a real people dog and like the idea of teaching a dog to trust again, this is your guy! Bubba is a chow mix, about 3 years old, with a beautiful reddish coat. He has been fine with the other dogs he has been exposed to. Contact Discarded Miracles (discardedmiracles@gmail.com) if you are the one to help Bubba overcome his fear.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Los Alamitos Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Los Alamitos, or seeking a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Los Alamitos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Alamitos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Alamitos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Alamitos paves the way for another one to be saved.
