My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Millie – female, spayed, vaccinated to date, 10mos, 15lbs, Pug/Beagle (Puggle).

Due to a family break up and move Millie needs to find a new home. Millie has been loved and well cared for but has been spending too much time on her own or with the Boarding Kennel, she needs a family to keep her active, entertained and loved!

Millie is a really sweet and loveable girl who needs lots of exercise – this is typical of this mix. Millie is great with other dogs and would love regular visit to a dog park to burn off some of her energy, she is good with kids and cats. This girl is sure that everyone around her in her home or on the street is there to make friends with! Millie is house trained and crate trained, she should be crated or gated in an area when left alone and at night as she is still a pup and will look for mischief if she is bored and alone. Millie is best suited to an active family where someone isn’t gone more then 6hrs or where someone is home most of the time. If she gets a good amount of exercise and mental stimulation she would likely be fine when left alone for typical 9-5hours. Pug/Beagle mixes are an active, smart dog that need at least a 1 hour walk a day, ideally play time or obedience training as well. They are good at obedience training and need to keep both their mind and bodies busy to be happy and calm when indoors. When she has had her walk and play time Millie is tired out and always ready for a good cuddle, a tired dog is a good and happy dog. Millie would be perfect for an active family who would like an energetic dog to walk, hike, jog or roller blade with. Millie needs a house with a fenced yard, she is not suitable for apartment living.
