Phoebe's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is about six years old and sweet as can be. Her family had to give her up due to relocating to a home that didn't allow pets. Phoebe is super gentle, loves to be cuddled, and will "belly up" to all she meets. She likes other dogs and would be happy following around her new family and sharing in life's adventures. Phoebe is housebroken and eager to follow any commands. She would make an excellent gardening companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a New Fairfield Beagle/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Border Collie for sale in New Fairfield, or seeking a Beagle/Border Collie dog from a breeder in New Fairfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Fairfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Fairfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Border Collie breeders who help with Beagle/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Fairfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
