Kaya's Story...
KAYA is an impressive young lady who was adopted as a puppy from a shelter and later turned over to rescue when her family could no longer keep her. Kaya's big and boisterous and still quite the puppy. She'll need a home committed to exercising her -- but anyone can walk her when she wears her Gentle Leader collar. Kaya rides well in the car and is excited about heading to class with you to learn good behaviors and tricks. To keep her in good condition, she'll need room to run and an ample supply of a premium dog food. Another big doggie friend would be a bonus. Kaya is 9 months old and is underweight at 75 lbs. She appears to be housetrained and likes playing with her foster friends. Adoption fee and home visit required. Please visit Kaya's page. Contact Sanya at sanya@hugadog.com or 909-946-3710.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaya, a Upland Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Upland, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Upland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Upland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Upland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Upland paves the way for another one to be saved.
