Tanner's Info...

Tanner's Story...
Tanner is a 2 year old male losing his home because his owners are moving and cannot take him. Their loss is your gain! Tanner is a well-socialized, absolutely fun-loving golden who loves to romp at the dog park. He'll provide you with endless joy. He's on the bigger size and probably approaches 80 pounds, but it's because he's tall, not overweight. Any family would be lucky to have him. Tanner will be ready for adoption after November 1st. To start the adoption process, please complete the application found on our website - www.grinrescue.org. Local prospects only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner, a Cleveland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
