My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: Update 9/19/09: Hobie went to the horse show today and was a big hit with everyone. He didn't meet a person or a dog (or horse) that he didn't like (or that didn't like him!)! He laid on the ground and was loved on by a 5 yr old boy who told him that he was sooo much better than his cat! He was kissy face with one of the horses and snuck up and laid by a man and then ever so gently put his paw on his shoulder as if to say Hello, I'm here! Hobie would really like to have a boy of his own, he's be a great kids dog!

Meet Hobie our newest boy. This handsome guy is only 9 months old and about 35 pounds. He is an owner surrender due to his chewing, however if you leave a puppy to his own devices what else is he going to do? He is reported to be good with other dogs and really likes children. According to his owner Hobie has a really nice disposition. He has a pretty good grasp of sit, come, no, and lay down. And is okay with being off-lead without bolting and easily comes. “Stay” is a bit more challenging. He is used to being walked on a leash and heals pretty good without pulling. He does have an occasion to walk in front of your feet, but quickly moves out of the way. As we get to know him I’ll post more information and more pictures.
