JORIE's Story...
Jorie is a little 11 week old Pug/Terrier mix puppy. She was owner surrender. The husband of the family was given Jorie's mom (Josie--purebred Pug) as a birthday gift when she was just a baby. He already had a dog and didn't want Josie. This just reinforces the idea that you should NEVER give an animal as a surprise gift. The person receiving the animal should know that he/she is getting it and be a part of the whole gift-giving process. Anyway, the husband kept Josie, but never did anything with her or for her. She was never spayed and of course she had puppies. They didn't want the puppies either, so the wife called PAWS and asked if she could she could bring Josie and her two puppies to us. Now baby Jorie is looking for a loving home and family who will want her, and love her, and give her a forever home! PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET THIS PUPPY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JORIE, a Anna Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Anna, or seeking a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Anna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anna paves the way for another one to be saved.
