found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Howie does not beg for food at the table. He does like to hang out on the couch or a chair with you. Howie does have a minor handicap, but nobody ever told Howie he has one. See, Howie has a mature cataract in his right eye which is evident in his pictures. However, this little guy is living his life to the fullest! What Howie DOES know is that he needs a loving FURever home!!
Can you give him one?
ORIGINAL BIO 8/3/2009: Hiya everybody! My name is Howie! I am a 4-1/2 year old 8.5 lb Yorkie boy. I was rescued from the shelter today where I was picked up living on the streets all by my lonesome. At the shelter, nobody wanted to adopt me because..... well.... take a look at my "before" pic. I was covered in poopie and fleas. They say I smelled really bad, but after 6 days in my cage all alone, I got used to the smell. I am so grateful UYR was there to rescue me. Foster mom brought me home today and introduced me to the bathtub! She said I was SUCH a good boy. I let her work her magic on me -clipping my nails, combing out the mats, and making sure I didn't have anymore critters hitching a ride on me!
FM wanted me to let you know that even though I am a young boy, I have a mature cataract in my right eye. This means that I can only see out of my left eye, and there is a small cataract forming there too. I get around just fine, love going for walks, and ate all my dinner tonight! FM will update you when she finds out more about little 'ol me! Ta-ta for now! Luv, Howie.
