for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Alfonzo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Alfonzo's Story...
Alfonzo is a dude with a quirky huge personality. A handsome black and tan 3 year old male that is neutered, up to date on his shots, micro chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly heartworm preventative Fonzo NEEDS an active home and another dog to play with. Fonzo rides well, is kennel trained, gets along well with other dogs (both large and small) and most humans! A major snuggle baby, he is about 12 inches tall and about 11 pounds and is a very animated and happy dog. Alfonzo needs some obedience training (and alpha humans or he tries to rule the roost), so he and his new family are on the same page as far as the expected good boy behavior is concerned. Fonzo is already kennel trained.
Is your family ready to share your home with a little boy whose favorite pastime is belly rubs and giving soft kisses? Fonzo is a cuddle bug and searching for his forever home?
If you would like Alfonzo to join your family, please go to and fill out an Adoption Application (under Online Forms).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfonzo, a Phoenix Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
